Service Contracts
IMS offers multiple tiers of service contracts. These contracts vary in coverage, but typically allows for customers to better predict the budgets necessary to support their installed audio-visual systems.
The contracts also make certain guarantees to the customer in terms of
(1) response time,
(2) system operation and functionality,
(3) parts coverage, etc.
IMS has three standard service contracts:
Complete Care
For those customers who are not outfitted to perform all of the maintenance of their AV systems in-house, Complete Care is the right option. The only costs the customer needs to consider outside of this option is for expendable items. All labor, loaner equipment, repairs, replacement equipment, programming, etc is covered under this contract option. The customer also receives ultimate top-notch care and within 24-hour response time.
Priority Care
This contract option offers you most of the coverage of Complete Care with a lower price tag. Customers still receive 24-hour on site response time and loaner equipment. However, the equipment repair coverage for parts and replacement is only covered up to a certain dollar amount set by the customer (typically $500 or $1000).
Standard Care
Our most basic service coverage, Standard Care covers on site labor and shipping costs. The customer is responsible for paying for parts, equipment repair fees and equipment replacement. This is the option which keeps service costs in check when a customer is on a tight budget by providing the customer with the onsite support without having the burden of a regular invoice as with Time & Materials Support.
Customers with a large number of spaces with audio-visual or with high-end systems which require professional operation.
Outsource Service Management
IMS can offer a complete Outsource Service Management solution. Typically an enterprise solution, Outsource Service Management allows for IMS to be burdened with all of the cost for hiring and managing staff; coordinating the use of audio-visual equipment; setting up, operating, and shutting down equipment; and asset management of all the components. This allows IMS to worry about the costs and operational needs of the installed audio-visual equipment so that the customer to stay focused on what they need to focus on – running their business.
Asset Management
IMS’ Service and Support system has the ability to track failure rates, equipment replacement cycles, maintenance data, and frequency of use of systems. This information can be maintained by IMS and offered to the customer so that they can budget appropriately as well as anticipate the audio-visual needs of the customer down the road. This empowers the customer with the information necessary to make vital spending decisions.
