—The IMS Executive Team
John H. Renninger
Principal
Education: University of Delaware First Job: I started working in a Garden Center when I was 13 years old. First "Real" Job: Xerox Corporation- Facilities Management Coordinator (then Account Representative, then Major Account Representative) Home: Bethel, PA
Business Philosophy Essential Business Philosophy: Exceed the customers expectations without exception.
Best way to keep a competitive edge: Hire the very best talent and create a team environment that will allow them to contribute to their fullest potential.
Yardstick of success: See IMS grow in concert with the changing and expanding needs of our customers. Having long term customers who are willing to return to IMS for their evolving needs.
Goal yet to be achieved: Beach house at the shore where family can relax; (I want to break 80 at Sand Barrens!).
Judgment Calls Best Decision: Starting IMS
Worst Decision: I held a multitude of different positions within a fortune 500 Company from Account Representative to Product Launch Manager to Division Manager to National Director of Training. I was extremely grateful for the opportunity and ultimately the experience provided to me however, my biggest regret is that I did not get involved with IMS sooner. I am passionate about our Team, our Customers and the opportunities and challenges in our Industry.
Toughest Decision: Back in the big company days, having to make the choice on who stays and who goes during a Reduction In Force. This experience has emphasized the importance of managing our tremendous growth at IMS and positioning the proper employees with the proper opportunities.
Mentor My father; He showed me that you can do business where your word is golden, and that you can do business on a handshake, even in the environment we live in today.
Jill Savoy Renninger
Principal
Education: Widener First Job: Administration in my Dad’s office at age 13. Home: Bethel, PA
Business Philosophy Essential Business Philosophy: Never let customers down, whatever it takes! Proactively refine business operations and procedures to create a culture that is based on performance and accountability.
Best way to keep a competitive edge: Attention to detail and maintain an excellent work ethic.
Yardstick of success: A family that is healthy, happy and secure.
Goal yet to be achieved: Beach house at the Jersey shore, where our family and friends can get together and enjoy one another’s company and make a lifetime of memories.
Judgment Calls Best Decision: Hiring the right people for the right job. My greatest joy in business is to help our employees develop to their fullest potential.
Worst Decision: Hiring a person who lacked a good work ethic which consequently let down their fellow employees.
Toughest Decision: Returning to work full time and finding the balance between family and IMS.
Mentor My Parents who have lived the American Dream. They have achieved great personal and business success through hard work, honesty and commitment. They instilled a belief that honesty and hard work are what a person is measured by.
Bob Lobascio
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Education: BA NYU,Pre Law First Job: Open-up (5:30 AM) my Uncle’s fruit and produce stand in Somerdale, NJ at age 12 First "Real" Job: Burroughs Corporation — Territory Manager Cherry Hill, NJ Home: Hockessin, DE
Business Philosophy
Essential Business Philosophy: Do what you say you do… it is rare that a company is completely trusted to do all that it offers during the Sales process, so by doing all that you say you do, you separate your company from the majority of the suppliers with whom you compete.
Best way to keep a competitive edge: Integrity and enthusiasm are a great combination; “Learn every day and apply what you learn constantly”
Yardstick of success: Cordial and trusted business and personal relationships with customers and employees for my 28+ years of being in business.
Goal yet to be achieved: Achieve the elusive balance of terrific business success and time to share and enjoy the success with my family, although I am getting closer!
Judgment Calls Best Decision: Joining IMS at this point in its evolution — after managing marketing technology teams for 29 years, throughout the world.
Worst Decision: Joining an early stage company whose “exit strategy” drove all of the day to day decisions — Yes, I won a purple heart in the dot bomb days!
Toughest Decision: To let people go when they are very determined to succeed but just don’t have quite what is needed to be successful.
Mentor: My mentor opened every conversation with “how are you doing?” and meant it and ended every conversation with “what else can I do for you?” and meant that as well. He lives in Malibu with a 270 degree view of the Pacific Ocean, so these questions can indicate real values, and these concepts are not as schmaltzy as they may sound!

I love to work with people who don’t check their job descriptions every time you ask them for help or advice with a new opportunity — in that process we can grow our company to new heights and assist many new customers!
